Frequently Asked Questions
Contact us by telephone or WhatsApp to book. When messaging on WhatsApp, including your name, symptoms and the town or city you are travelling from helps us arrange a suitable time. There is no online booking calendar; our assistants confirm appointments.
Bring any previous X-ray, MRI, CT and ultrasound images (films, CDs or digital records), operation reports, discharge summaries and a list of your medicines. The images themselves are valuable, not just the written report. Bring your identification as well.
Duration depends on the complexity of the problem. Listening to your symptoms, physical examination, reviewing your images together and explaining treatment options generally determine the time needed. Arriving shortly before your appointment is helpful, as busy days may involve a wait.
Healthcare price advertising is restricted by legislation, so fees are not published on our site. Our assistants can provide current information about consultations and procedures by telephone.
This is a private medical practice. SGK and private health insurance coverage vary by policy, insurer and procedure. We recommend checking current arrangements by telephone when booking and bringing your policy if you have private insurance.
Operations are not performed at the clinic. Joint replacement, arthroscopy, fracture and hand surgery all take place in hospital. The hospital, admission arrangements and follow-up programme are explained at consultation; you can also ask when booking.
If you need to plan a journey, mention this when booking. Wherever possible, examination and any required imaging are arranged for the same day. Some investigations may have a waiting list, however, so a second day may be needed. If you are travelling from Ünye or nearby, the travel and planning information on orthopaedic care for patients travelling from Ünye may help.
The clinic is not a 7/24 emergency service. For a suspected new fracture, dislocation, open wound or cut, limb amputation or a blue, cold hand or foot, call 112 or attend the nearest hospital emergency department. You can book clinic follow-up after emergency care.
Yes. You have the right to seek a second opinion on another doctor's diagnosis or proposed operation. Bring all available images, reports and any surgical plan to make the consultation useful. The aim is not to judge the existing plan but to review the options and their reasons with you.
Photographs sent through WhatsApp, particularly photographs of screens, are insufficient for diagnosis and do not allow a remote treatment plan. Bring your images to the consultation. We recommend using WhatsApp for practical matters such as appointments and directions.
An examination report can be issued after assessment at the clinic. However, disability medical-board reports, incapacity-for-work documents and similar official certificates must legally be issued by authorised healthcare institutions. You will be advised at consultation where to obtain the relevant document.
Yes. Paediatric orthopaedics is among our areas of interest. When booking, mention your child's age and symptoms; bring any postnatal hip ultrasound, previous X-rays and vaccination or developmental records. For childhood-specific diagnoses, see paediatric orthopaedics.
If you cannot attend, let us know as early as possible by telephone or WhatsApp. The slot can be offered to another patient, and a new appointment can be arranged for you more easily.
Information submitted through the appointment form or WhatsApp is processed only for appointments and communication. Data categories, retention periods and your rights are explained on the privacy notice and cookie policy page.
